Stewart Title opens Italian office

Stewart Title Ltd., the international real estate underwriting arm of Stewart Information Services Corp., has opened an office in Italy.
The office in Milan is headed by Caterina Tosello, appointed as country and regional market director. Tosello previously handled commercial real estate transactions for several Italian law firms, specializing in cross-border transactions.
The international firm handles underwriting for transactions in the U.K., Europe, Australia and New Zealand for Stewart Title Guaranty Co., a subsidiary of Houston-based Stewart Information (NYSE: STC).
